Jorge Yances

Yances studied under several well-known artists and in 1974, he received the medal of bronze by the Grumbacher Company. He also became an artist in residence at the Cruciana and Rosler Gallery in Orlando, Florida. Since then, his work has been exhibited throughout the United States, South America and Asia. Sol de la Tarde was part of a series called “Cartagena Memories”. In this series, Yances recreated the past beauty of his native land.
