Welcome to the Tennessee Arts Commission’s new website

From Suzanne Lynch, Director of Marketing and Development –

Welcome to our new home – we hope you like it as much as we do. A year in the making, the new site is meant to extend the recently announced branding for the Tennessee Arts Commission while also being user-friendly, informative and, of course, creatively aesthetic.

As you can see at the top of your browser, the web-address for the site has changed from tn.gov/arts to tnartscommission.org. The old site has officially been redirected to what you see now, as of 4/30/2015.

To point out a few new features on this site, there is now an option to submit both news stories about your organization and add events to a statewide calendar. By providing this option we hope to share the breadth and depth of the arts in Tennessee – with your help.

Under the ‘news’ tab on the main navigation bar, click on drop-down ‘submit your news’ and then fill in the fields. To view stories from the Arts Commission or recently submitted articles, click on the news button. Please note that by submitting any information, you are giving us permission to post it on both our website and social media platforms, as well as the consent to edit as needed.

Clicking on the ‘events’ tab, also on the main navigation bar, you can view a calendar with events and important dates from the Arts Commission, as well as those submitted by you. To submit an event, click on the ‘submit an event’ drop-down under the events tab. Note that not all submissions are guaranteed to be included on the calendar.

Please, take the time to explore the new site and get to know the new navigations and resources that we will continue to make available to you.
