Grant funding is now available for attendance to Collective Impact—Arts Administrators, Educators And Artists Together As Community Change Agents
From Hal Partlow, Associate Director for Grants —
This special opportunities grant will provide up to $500 for individual applicants or $1000 for organizational applicants registering a minimum of 2 or more staff toward travel & registration fees to attend the Tennessee Arts Commission statewide conference.
The conference will be held June 7-10, 2016 at Bradley Academy and Patterson Park Community Center in Murfreesboro, TN. Bringing together arts administrators, educators, and artists in a new way, this convening combines the former Create education institute with the biennial statewide arts conference.
Please note that all Special Opportunities grantees must be prepared to handle all necessary expenditures up front. Commission funds will be paid as reimbursement to the grantees upon submission and approval of a grant evaluation and appropriate documentation including receipts. No Commission funds are available prior to the Special Opportunities activity.
The deadline for this opportunity is May 17, 2016, or when all funds are allocated—whichever comes first.
