Frist call for print artist submissions

Anthology: Visual Narratives from Nashville’s Print Community is a juried exhibition at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts that celebrates Nashville’s small presses and artists who use printing techniques in artistically significant ways to tell stories. Whether in graphic novels, songs, concrete poems, updated folktales and urban legends, or other ways of sharing ideas and imaginative constructions, the narrative in all its printed forms represents the heart of Nashville’s culture.

Book artists, printmakers and printers within a 55-mile radius of Nashville are invited to submit up to three works of art—books, posters or other printed mediums—for consideration by a jury.

Deadline for submission is May 15. The exhibition will be open from November 7, 2015 – January 7, 2016. For more information, click here.
