AFTA Local Arts Agency Census Deadline Extended to July 17

By Shannon Ford, Director of Community Arts Development –

AFTALogo_CMYKAmericans for the Arts (AFTA) is conducting a nationwide Local Arts Agency (LAA) Census. Tennessee has over 30 LAAs—let’s get everyone on the AFTA list to show well across the nation. There’s still time to complete the census as AFTA has extended the survey application deadline to Friday, July 17. Simply follow the directions below to fill out a survey for your LAA.

  • Each LAA has already received e-mail messages from AFTA (rcohen@artsusa.org) that include instructions on how to complete the Census, as well as a unique link to a survey that has been customized for your LAA. You can simply open one of those emails, and click on your unique link to open your customized survey.
  • LAAs that don’t have any of the previous emails and need your unique survey link should contact Ben Davidson. Provide the name of the organization, the city and state where it is located and Ben will then send you your unique Census link.
