Most Tennessee Arts Commission grants are geared to organizations. However, there are also opportunities for professional individual applicants who reside in Tennessee.

Eligibility

Individual applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be legal residents of Tennessee at the time of application with a Tennessee mailing address. Proof of residency will require a valid Tennessee voter registration card or a legal State of Tennessee driver’s license. Applicants may be requested to submit a copy of their most recently filed Federal Income Tax Form 1040, if there is a question concerning legal residency.

Any question of eligibility should be directed to the Commission before the application is submitted. First time applicants MUST contact the Commission to discuss the proposed project prior to application submission.
